Free Events = Zero Fees
If your event is free ($0 ticket price), Spiritu charges nothing. There is no platform fee, no Stripe fee, and no fixed charge. The event is displayed and promoted on the same terms as paid events.
Payment Channels
Web & Android — Stripe
All web bookings and Android Google Play purchases route through Stripe Connect. Facilitators must complete Stripe onboarding to receive payouts.

- Refunded bookings reverse the fee proportionally
iOS — Online Events Only
In-person event bookings on iOS run through Stripe, exactly like Web and Android. Only online events booked inside the iOS app must use Apple's In-App Purchase. Seekers see the same ticket price on every platform — but Apple keeps a 30% commission on every iOS in-app purchase, so the facilitator's payout on those specific bookings is lower than on web/Android sales of the same ticket. Facilitators see both payout amounts before publishing.

- Online events on iOS: Apple takes 30%, facilitator nets ~65%
- All facilitator payouts settle via Stripe Connect
Fee Discounts for Select Facilitators
Active facilitators with strong track records may qualify for a reduced platform fee via an admin-managed override. These are not publicly available — they are granted on a case-by-case basis.

Overrides are stored per-facilitator, time-bounded, and require admin approval. They do not affect the Stripe card fee or fixed fee.
When Facilitators Get Paid
Seeker books
Payment is captured immediately via Stripe or Apple.
Refund window
A hold period applies before the transfer is released.
Auto-transfer
Platform fees are deducted; the rest is sent to the facilitator.
Refund policy: If a booking is cancelled and refunded, the marketplace fee is reversed proportionally. The facilitator is only ever charged on money they actually keep. No hidden monthly fees, no setup costs, no listing charges.
